A few days back, during the morning walk, a fellow walker stopped to ask if i ever worked in HCL. Well it's more than 25 years now, and i couldn't identify who he was. Since he recognized me, he started asking about my current job. I answered in the usual way "business".

Since, i couldn't recall his name or face, i apologized and asked who he was. He reminded me that he's Thangadurai. I asked if he was part of Materials planning dept and he helpfully clarified that he worked in the server team. Well i got confused momentarily as i was in the server team. Then i recalled that he was part of the production(known as line), while i was in the engineering/testing team. He's still working in Acer, the company which started their operations in the same Sedarapet area as our company.

After that conversation, we bumped into each other this morning and acknowledged each other with a smile. It's a nice feeling to meet someone after a quarter century. He looks quite fit and has not changed much in the intervening period.

I have started jogging for close to 1.8kms for the past two days.

It has been raining for the past two days. Due to wet soil, it is much easier to remove the weeds in the garden.
