Drip Irrigation

Subsidy was availabed from TN Govt for installing drip irrigation system for irrigation at Thenkodipakkam .

Netafim was choosen as Drip Irrigation vendor due to their historical connection to Israel and read about them in news articles. The subsidy was for the Blackgram crop with spacing of 1.2m*0.6m. Casuarina crop was planned in end 2022 with drip irrigation in mind.

Drip irrigation can be automated by various tools. This is commonly known as Irrigation Automation

Later Coconut planned in mid-2024 also was based on Drip Irrigation only.
