Fencing work commenced

Fencing work commenced with Mohan working with Guna and Ezhumalai, who earlier helped in moving the pipes.

Completed 200m at EOD. Delay was due to stick cutting.

Rainfall status

Yesterday night there was mild rainfall and 17-2 planting is safe as of now. Heavy flood in the stream usually overflows on 17-2.

Since bunds were not formed due to rain and my decision, water from heavy rains will go waste.

Casuarina Final payment

Spoke to Aruvapakkam nursery Kannan and confirmed that final payment is ₹59,750. He will send a sapling owner’s gpay ID later, so I send above amount to him.

He did not pay anything extra as transport to Jagannathan. They were OK and happy about the way they were treated here.

Kannan on fence work

Kannan also suggested 2 person can easily finish 300m in one day. He even suggests 2 can do this.

He’ll also pay a visit and give his feedback to Mohan on the work. Nylon wire must run at the bottom continuously to prevent goats.

Pipeline updates

Spoke to prasanth about laying pipeline in January. He suggested doing it early, as soil will be easy to work.

Spoke to Ananth mama about conversation with prasanth. Seems like prasanth earlier called ananth mama.

Casuarina contract planting

Mama also mentioned about contract casuarina planting by parties from mandagapet who will form manual bunds suitable for flood irrigation at around ₹4*** per acre along with planting. I’m curious as to why omandur Subramani did not mention about this mandagapet parties.
