WiFi calling Note 6 Pro

Follow the instructions below to activate

Step 1 If WiFi calling is not enabled or does not show then type ( * # * # 869 434 # * # *) in dialer You will see vowifi carrier check disabled, this means your phone supports it, if you don’t see this, older Redmi phones such as Redmi 4 etc don’t have Vo-Wifi

Step 2 Switch off WiFi and ensure data is connected Open a random webpage This is so that your phone is imprinted on the network

Step 3 Go into airplane Turn on WiFi It should work now

If it doesn’t work, then go to the dialer and type ( * # * # 4636 # * # *) in the dialer Here go to phone information, scroll down and there you will see what is enabled and what isn’t The switch for ‘Mobile Phone Power’ or something something power as it may differ phone to phone. It should be the first switch

Turn it On. Go back and back and now WiFi Calling will work.

NOTE This switch is notorious for turning off by itself. So if WiFi calling doesn’t work by default, check in the phone services

In my case I have to do Step 2, 3 & enable mobile power every time I want Vo-Wifi. It’s ok, it’s worthwhile to be on WiFi Calling.
